Built in 1889 at the height of the silver boom, this hotel has been recently restored to its former elegant splendour. The hotel has a western and elegant feel from antique furniture to the gilt chandeliers and luxury fittings. It is easily recognisable by its Victorian exterior and is one of Aspen’s most famous landmarks. This elegant hotel is highly recommended for those discerning guests who require a luxury hotel, with personalised service and unrivalled ambience.
Outdoor heated pool, 2 Jacuzzi hot tubs and fitness room. Places to eat and drink include the renowned J Bar that maintains its original western saloon flare, Jacob’s corner for a relaxed atmosphere or The Century Room for an elegant fine dining option.

Ground Floor: There is a choice of 91 beautifully appointed, spacious rooms and suites all of which are individually decorated in a sophisticated and luxurious style. All rooms have custom-made beds, down duvets, VCR or DVD and mini bars. Bathrooms are very stylish with oversized bathtubs, separate shower and double marble vanity basin. We feature deluxe king rooms and premier king rooms which have an oversized Jacuzzi bath. Grand Deluxe suites, Grand Double suites and 1 bedroom suites are also available on request.
