Only a few minutes walk from the resort centre, a friendly and traditional 3 star hotel. The Hotel Gelinotte is a three star chalet hotel built in the traditional Savoyarde style typical to this region of the alps. The centre of resort is just a few mintutes walk away so you can easily get to the lively centre of Val D'Isere, or alternatively why not relax in the hotel's own comfortable bar.
Inside, the Gelinotte continues the theme of the traditional savoyarde style. There is a wonderful split level dining room with spectacular night time views accross the village of Val D'Isere, further enhanced by a warm and inviting log fire.
For 2014 the Gelinotte now has a brand new leisure suite with pool, steam room and sauna. The perfect place to relax those weary limbs after a hard day taking on the Espace Killy's finest slopes! The hotel has a fully licensed bar and restaurant, also newly built and seriously enhanced for 2014. Guests will find a quiet lounge for reading and a more sociable comfy lounge by the bar which has satellite TV, Wi-fi and an open hearth. The public areas are well thought out to offer guests privacy and different options for socialising.
The Hotel is about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the pistes, however to ease the walk, there is a regular morning and evening minibus service to and from the pistes, there is also a very efficient free bus service that runs all day in Val D'Isere. Furthermore, guests who take advantage of our Ski Hire service will receive free pisteside equipment storage (open all day), as well as our large pre-booking discounts.
The Gelinotte is run as a hotel, your holiday includes the benefits of the high levels of catering. Breakfast, Afternoon cake and 5 course dinner are part of your package on 6 days each week. A choice of wines is available with your meal, but all drinks at the hotel are charged for. There is very limited off road parking next to the hotel for those with their own cars, although this can be difficult to access when there is a lot of snow.
