The villages have a young and vibrant feel with an excellent nightlife, and play host to the biggest European freeski and snowboarding championships. The bulk of the shopping and entertainment is found along Flims main street, with Laax just a short shuttle bus journey away.

There are some fantastic nursery slopes in both Flims Dorf & Laax, with a kids village for children in both resorts. Once you've found your feet, the Naraus and Foppa areas have gentle runs back to Flims that will guarantee you progress swiftly.
You couldn't pick a better resort for intermediate skiing. Whether you want to try the 1700m descent from La Siala right back to the village, ski the Vorab galcier or move off-piste between mountains, the diversity of the landscape is going to please whatever your level and style.
The men's World Cup Downhill course from Crap Sogn Gion back to the Murschetg cable car is going to keep experts smiling all day. With a guide you'll be able to tackle the endless off-piste terrain from the summit of Cassons.
The outdoor Rock Bar at Crap Sogn Gion above Laax sets the atmosphere for boarders to meet up and watch what's happening on the two pipes it overlooks, and Freestylers are going to benefit from the Pipe and Park day pass. One of the best kept secrets in Switzerland, Freeriders have known about the long Segnes and Grauberg trails in Flims for years. |

| Flims and Laax offer a superb range of nightlife, and the Riders Palace in Laax cannot be missed as it often hosts internationally acclaimed DJs and bands. The Iglu Bar and Arena in Flims provide a non-stop après experience. At the end of the night, catch the shuttle bus back to your own village.
There are plenty of gourmet restaurants on offer throughout the villages serving all varieties of food. Try the Aktienbrauerei in Flims for local beer, sausage and pork, or the Plazza in Laax for homemade pasta and beef.
