Our five chalets are in two adjacent residences, very close to the slopes. Chalet Mariette is in the attractive Altitude Residence just next door. Each is catered for individually by its own dedicated Chalet Hosts.
Both built to a high quality Savoyard style, these two well-appointed residences are set in an ideal location close to the centre of Val Thorens on a quiet cul-de-sac.
You can walk or ski down around 250m to the edge of the piste, and ski from here to your choice of ski-lifts, opening up the whole of this fabulous area, and on your return, you can leave the piste and ski almost to the door of both residences. Our map on page 105 shows how well this location works.
All five chalets are attractively furnished and comfortable, with a good ratio of bathroom facilities to rooms, including some new facilities planned for the coming winter. The Altitude’s excellent facilities also include an indoor swimming-pool that is free to guests from all five of our chalets.
As Mariette and Susanna are the only apartments opening off their own shared hallway, they can conveniently be combined for a group of 18 all dining together.
There are a small number of après ski venues immediately on hand, with the more lively action a little further into the resort centre, approximately 10 minutes walk away.
