Verbier - A True Mix Of International Flare And Village Culture

Nestling in a wide sunny bowl above the Rhône Valley, with breathtaking views of the mountains that separate Switzerland, Italy and France, Verbier retains a wonderfully alpine charm. As part of the four4 valleys, the ski area is vast, high and varied with over 400km of runs including Thyon, Veysonnaz and Nendaz. Majestic pine trees span out above and below the resort, which, after a fresh snowfall, give an entrancing ‘winter wonderland’ feel to the resort.

Verbier Snow In

Skiing & Boarding In Verbier

The Mont Fort Glacier at 3300 metres has guaranteed snow throughout the season and is easily accessible via the largest cable car in Switzerland. For beginners there is a choice of nursery slopes at the back of the village and an excellent ski school. You will soon progress to the sunny slopes of Savoleyres, the gentle tree-lined runs to Tzoumaz and the wide, open slopes of the glacier. While Verbier has plenty for everybody, it has built its reputation as an advanced skiers’ paradise.

Après-ski In Verbier

Verbier is buzzing with life! Relax with afternoon tea in your chalet or at the Milk Bar, or head for the ever popular Mont Fort Pub, Big Ben Bar or the Nelson. There are numerous restaurants to try such as the Fer à Cheval for pizza, or the Rosalp for a feast. After dinner, Marshall’s or the Farm Club will sap the last ounces of energy from your legs! Other activities include ice-skating, curling, indoor tennis, a heated indoor swimming pool, tobogganing, cinema, sauna/solarium, para and hang-gliding, cross country skiing and a beautifully designed sports centre equipped for most activities.
