Chalet Helena is part of a small complex of seven similar attractive chalets, all detached and independently run, and is ideally situated next to Verbier’s Sports Centre, with its swimming-pool, sauna, solarium and steam-room, which many guests will enjoy having conveniently on hand for après-ski relaxation.
The interior of the Helena has been tastefully decorated, with clever use of pine and stone panelling projecting a modern spin on traditional Alpine style. The fabulous log-burning stove is a real feature of the living room, whilst the bedrooms are well furnished, with a good ratio of facilities to bedrooms, and the heated floors add still further to the overall welcoming warmth of the chalet.
Views from the lounge and dining-room balconies are hard to beat, with an uninterrupted vista across the valley to France and the Cols du Forclaz.
Access to the ski slopes is easy, with the nearest ski-bus stop just two minutes walk downhill from the chalet. On your return at the end of the day, you can get off the bus at the next stop up, thus avoiding the need to ever have to walk uphill!
