Heavy snow in the Alps

The snow has been falling heavily throughout the Alps over the last few days which is superb news for the coming Winter. The snow is forecast to continue and resorts are opening - the ski season is well and truly on the way!
In Meribel there has been a fantastic dump of snow over the past day and a half leaving at least 20cm lying in the resort centre and much more on the higher slopes.
The photo above shows some snow covered chalets in Meribel on the 2nd December.
