Sun Peaks - Award-winning Canadian Resort Offering Maximum Enjoyment - Day And Night.

Centrally located in Southern British Columbia, only 45 minutes drive from Kamloops, Sun Peaks is a huge resort in the heart of heli-skiing country. Sun Peaks will appeal to all ranges of skier and families will love the ski in/ski out properties that are available. A range that seems to have appeared out of nowhere has seen rapid development in the past few years. Locals began the ski area in 1961, with volunteers carving many of the runs that are skied today. Its stride toward the future of skiing began with Nippon Cable's purchase of the former Tod Mountain in 1992. There are now 3 peaks of variable terrain for you to explore. 4,270 acres to be precise!

Sun Peaks Snow In

Skiing & Boarding In Sun Peaks

Tod Mountain is the original and classic Sun Peaks mountain. Check out Tod’s open bowls and challenging terrain, as well as 'The 5-Mile', its signature top-to-bottom family-friendly green run. Sundance Mountain is the first mountain to open and the last to close each day. Home to the award-winning groomed runs, terrain park, half-pipe, ski school learning area and Tube Time park. Mount Morrisey is Sun Peaks’ third and newest mountain offering an award winning layout of open glades, cruising style runs and black diamond steeps, with more steeps to come in the future. Morrisey’s northerly exposure also keeps the snow light and dry and ensures that it lingers well into the spring each year.

Après-ski In Sun Peaks

Sun Peaks is peppered with activities and after-piste excitement from a romantic horse drawn sleigh ride to sling shot bungy tampolines for those with a more stable stomach. The snow covered main street is full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants.
