Located in the heart of Lac de Tignes.

Chalet Alpaca Lodge has a fabulous location in the heart of Lac de Tignes. This gives easy access to both sides of the valley. The chalet is a traditional Tignes style building that is maybe lacking in luxurious detail but certainly has plenty of character. The dining room has picture windows on both sides so there are fab views of the mountains. The bedrooms are mostly simple but have some lovely Savoyarde touches and are all en suite. There is also plenty of hot water in this chalet which is always important.

There is a cosy and friendly public bar on the ground floor that is very much part of the chalet atmosphere. It is always popular with guests as it is easy for a couple of beers before dinner.

The large central fireplace is a real focal point and there is a good selection of comfortable sofas to relax on. It is easy to sit back and relax with a book and cup of tea or play a couple of board games. Maybe just pull a stool up at the bar and have something stronger after a hard days skiing.

The bar also has Sky TV withBT sports available for sports fans so you don't need to miss the rugby or your favourite matches. The bar hosts also offer a varied acres ski programme.

Basically, the chalet offers a comfortable bed, hot water, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and acres ski on your doorstep - all for great value!
