Chalet St Bernard is situated in a wonderful position in the Chenus area of Courchevel 1850, almost beside the red Dou du Midi piste. For reasonable skiers and boarders, it is normally possible to ski or board to and from the door, but for novices, it is just a 5 minute walk to the main lifts and ski school meeting point in the town centre.
St Bernard is a traditional three floor chalet, typical of the style of the Savoie region. There are numerous windows, balconies running the full length of the chalet, and lots of wood facings both inside and outside which give it a warm and welcoming air. The lounge/dining room has particularly large windows which makes it very bright and sunny during the day. In the evening, the open log fire becomes the focal point. There is also A DVD player in the lounge, so if you wish bring your favourite DVDs with you.
Bedroom 6, which is accessed by an external stairway at the rear of the chalet, is really a 60 square metre suite. In addition to the bedroom, bathroom and wc, there is a lounge which offers marvellous views from the big picture window. There is a double bed settee in this lounge which can be used if necessary
