Sun Peaks - Award-winning Canadian Resort Offering Maximum Enjoyment - Day And Night.

Centrally located in Southern British Columbia, only 45 minutes drive from Kamloops, Sun Peaks is a huge resort in the heart of heli-skiing country. A range that seems to have appeared out of nowhere has seen rapid development in the past few years. Locals began the ski area in 1961, with volunteers carving many of the runs that are skied today. Its stride toward the future of skiing began with Nippon Cable's purchase of the former Tod Mountain in 1992. So far, more than $450 million has gone into the upgrade, with more on the way.

Skiing & Boarding In

Tod Mountain is the original and classic Sun Peaks mountain. Check out Tod’s open bowls and challenging terrain, as well as 'The 5-Mile', its signature top-to-bottom family-friendly green run. Sundance Mountain is the first mountain to open and the last to close each day. Home to the award-winning groomed runs, terrain park, half-pipe, ski school learning area and Tube Time park. Mount Morrisey is Sun Peaks’ third and newest mountain offering an award winning layout of open glades, cruising style runs and black diamond steeps, with more steeps to come in the future. Morrisey’s northerly exposure also keeps the snow light and dry and ensures that it lingers well into the spring each year.

Après-ski In

Sun Peaks is peppered with activities and after-piste excitement from a romantic horse drawn sleigh ride to sling shot bungy tampolines for those with a more stable stomach. The famous Ice Palace Hotel can boast to be the first ice-sculpted hotel in Western Canada. Complete with theme rooms, a chapel and Ice Bar, this hotel gives guests a uniquely chilling experience. For an unforgettable Thursday evening partake in the torchlight fondue. Beginning with a trip up the chair to the Sunburst Restaurant, guests are then treated to a delightful fondue accompanied by live music. The menu includes a variety of meats, seafood, breads and vegetables to accompany the oil and cheese fondues. The meal is followed by a scrumptious chocolate fondue dessert with a selection of fresh fruits. The meal concludes with a leisurely ski down elegant torch-lit slopes.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for finding the appartment Cristal des Glaces in Chamonix and dealing with everything so efficiently the day before we arrived - it was just the right size for a family of six and the view from the balcony was stunning. It was also very clean and we didn't want for anything ( it even had a raclette machine and fondue!). I will certainly keep you on file for next year.
Many thanks once again.
