British Snow Tour unveil 'The Rebellion'

British Snow Tour organisers have revealed a new era of Indoor Championships – The Rebellion.

A competition course that boasts two distinct lines of rails and boxes running simultaneously, individual titles and a minimum of four hours slope time per rider, promises to set the scene for the ultimate indoor rulers to emerge.

The Rebellion is set to revolutionise snowboard & freeski warfare. The ‘Rail Slayer’ title will be awarded to those that deploy Jedi-like skills on the rail. The ‘Jib Master’ will go to those who perform best on the box. Only those who can conquer both zones will be crowned British Indoor Champion.

The actions takes place at SNO!zone Castleford on Saturday 24 September, with British Championship medals to be earned, TTR world-ranking points to be gained, a prize purse to be won and reputations to be forged.

Snowboard Championships Schedule:
09.00 – 11.00 Box Line (All women plus KM, YM - unless seeded)
11.10 – 13.10 Rail Line (All women plus KM, YM - unless seeded)
13.20 – 15.20 Box Line (JM, OM, MM - plus all seeded men)
15.30 – 17.30 Rail Line (JM, OM, MM - plus all seeded men)
17.30 – 18.15 Box Line (Finalists – 15 riders - 10 men / 5 women)
18.15 – 19.00 Rail Line (Finalists – 15 riders - 10 men / 5 women)

Freeski Championships Schedule:
09.00 – 11.00 Rail Line (All women plus KM, YM - unless seeded)

The second installment of the British Snow Tour is the Invitational Championships, taking place at Earls Court at the London Ski & Snowboard Show on Friday 21 October. We’ve got 200 free show tickets for Ski Club members so make sure you claim yours quickly before they’re all snatched up!

The third and final stop on the tour is the BRITS. This will be held in Laax, Switzerland from 18-25 March 2012. We will also be offering Ski Club members an exclusive deal on tickets, so keep an eye on the website for more information on the rest of the tour.
