It is the 1st March and Spring is in the air. The sun is shining, there is snow on the hills and the daffodils are starting to appear.

March and April are a fabulous time of year to ski as the days are longer and it is warmer to sit outside at lunch and into the late afternoon. The pistes have a good established base so are in great condition. Especially with this lovely fresh snow we have at the moment and for the next few days.

Get up early and ski the north facing slopes first for the best conditions. If you keep skiing and have a late lunch you will reap the benefit of lovely spring snow conditions before it gets soft in the late afternoon.
