Incredible Amounts of Fresh Snow

There has been a huge amount of fresh snow falling across the Alps this past week. To give you an idea of conditions here are some snow depths:

Chamonix - upper slopes 300cm, lower slopes 60cm
Avoriaz - upper slopes 220cm, lower slopes 160cm
Grindelwald - upper slopes 209cm, lower slopes 20cm
St Anton - upper slopes 200cm, lower slopes 40cm
Zermatt - upper slopes 220cm, lower slopes 20cm

There is a high risk of avalanched to the fresh snow as it is generally a 4/5 warning.

The sun is forecast to stay shining for next week so fabulous skiing and boarding can be had all round.
