The mountains are starting to open up again

France is now allowing public amenities, shops, cafes and restaurants to open their doors again which is great news. A return so some sort of normality is on the cards for the local communities.

There is uplift planned throughout the Summer in some resorts which is fabulous news for the local businesses and those wanting to return to the mountains.

The following resorts are a taster of those that plan on running lifts this summer:
Megeve open from the 4th July
Saint Gervais open from the 28th June
Les Contamines from the 27th June

We do not know as yet how the resorts plan to run this Winter but we do know that the mountains will still be there. We just need to be patient.
