The Mont Fort Glacier at 3300 metres has guaranteed snow throughout the season and is easily accessible via the largest cable car in Switzerland. For beginners there is a choice of nursery slopes at the back of the village and an excellent ski school. You will soon progress to the sunny slopes of Savoleyres, the gentle tree-lined runs to Tzoumaz and the wide, open slopes of the glacier. While Verbier has plenty for everybody, it has built its reputation as an advanced skiers’ paradise. |

Verbier is buzzing with life! Relax with afternoon tea in your chalet or at the Milk Bar, or head for the ever popular Mont Fort Pub, Big Ben Bar or the Nelson. There are numerous restaurants to try such as the Fer à Cheval for pizza, or the Rosalp for a feast. After dinner, Marshall’s or the Farm Club will sap the last ounces of energy from your legs! Other activities include ice-skating, curling, indoor tennis, a heated indoor swimming pool, tobogganing, cinema, sauna/solarium, para and hang-gliding, cross country skiing and a beautifully designed sports centre equipped for most activities. |
